Any medical complaint from minor ailments to more serious conditions and injuries are dealt with by a fully trained medical team at off site facilities. Guests at Royal Kruger Lodge have access to doctors in Komatipoort and Malelane, within a 20-30 minute drive away. The nearest urban medical facilities are hospitals in Tonga or Nelspruit, within an hour's drive away. Although our guests have all remained in good health to date, they are still advised to please carry medical insurance or a travel insurance policy covering at least injury, death, medical costs, emergency evacuation, repatriation, loss of or damage to personal belongings (due to theft or otherwise) and cancellation..
